Summer

Page history last edited by Neil Boujemaoui 8 years, 10 months ago

Lying in the sand

The beating down heat

The water shimmering, gleaming, streaming

Ripples around our feet.

Gather curly pearly

Mussel shells while bright

Frightened minnows darting, parting

Scurry out of sight.

The air is warm and calm

The sun enthroned upon the sky

All the creatures are resting

For the summer is now nigh.

Sport is played

And fun is ever present

Laughing  in the heat

Oh so very pleasant.

Flowing casually over the land

The wind is but a gentle breeze

And all is calm and peaceful

For the summer puts all things at ease.
